Commercial Retail Interior
Amsterdam
Arranged over two levels, this retail space is defined by a bold material strategy and a strong architectural rhythm. Rather than relying on a single defining gesture, the concept builds identity through contrast, scale and surface treatment.
Dark tiled flooring establishes a structured grid across both levels. Stainless steel introduces precision, while recessed niches clad in brown marble create depth and framing. Display elements are conceived as sculptural volumes rather than conventional fixtures, reinforcing the independent character of the space.
The fitting area forms a distinct spatial moment within the layout. Aged wood and a contrasting material language differentiate it from the main retail floor, offering intimacy within a material-driven environment. Accessories on the upper level contribute to a layered and dynamic experience.
The result is a commercial interior that balances material expressiveness with spatial clarity, creating a confident retail environment with architectural autonomy.
